THE VERDICT
If you’re unfamiliar with the good-times bowling alley that is The Keys, now is the time to get involved. They’ve just announced an epic new expansion to level-up your dining while you bowl and drink yourself to victory.
The Key's Kiosk, is a newly decked-out kitchen that has set up shop in the courtyard, coming to life with a woodfired grill and oven.
You can expect to see some of Melbourne’s best Chefs taking over the fresh new space for the warmer months. This summer’s gun set to start things off with a bang is Sam Stafford. Once the executive Chef at the renowned MONO XO Sam says his menu is sure to be nothing short of spectacular.
“Designed to be extreme, full flavour, nothing really subtle,” said Sam.
“Seafood heavy, offal heavy, cheeses and breads. Casual, fun, served in shells and bones.”
Expect anything from 14-day-dried crispy skinned duck with a maple glaze, to Sydney rock oysters with a malt dressing, and Burrata with confit leek and salted cucumber.
Alongside the new Keys Kiosk, The Keys bar—48 beer taps strong is operating as per. The 12 authentic maple-laden alleys are also up for booking should you fancy some time on the lanes following a session by the kiosk.
