The Verdict
Melbourne has a new Thai king. Travelling across interstate borders, Long Chim will be opening on the Crown Riverwalk just in time for summer. Follow your nose, we’re sure you won’t miss it.
With packed-out venues in Perth and Sydney, the hawker-style menu is a nod to the markets of Bangkok. Aromatic dishes include charred rice noodles tossed through tender beef, basil and Sriracha sauce or grilled pork and banana roti (trust us, it works).
Cocktails boast a noticeably Thai-inspired twist, with signature drinks including the Bangkok Painkiller and 555.
