The Verdict
LA steeze powerhouse, JOYRICH, has arrived in Melbourne, and they’ve set up their first location in the backblocks of Cremorne.
The label’s ethos is as outspoken as its aesthetic, with inspiration taken from recent movements in fashion and culture. You’ll see not so subtle cues taken from the exponential rise in the graphic print, but with a unique flair that’s backed up by a bold use of fabrics, colours and fits.
JOYRICH has been kicking around since 2007, and the hype machine has been hard at work keeping up with the brand’s lucrative collaborations over the past decade. More recently, Snoop Dogg hosted his first runway show which flexed a 32 piece collection with the LA-based label, only followed by a collab with international alt-darling, Billie Eilish.
With the brand now having a distribution point and brick & mortar store in Melbourne, you can expect to see a lot more from JOYRICH at a local level.
