How’s The Serenity? You Can Stay In The Holiday House From The Castle This Summer

We’re all going to Bonnie Doon, or at least, you could be if you book this Airbnb. Yep, the Kerrigan’s iconic holiday house is up for rent right now.

You may recall the digs from iconic scenes like where Daryl fires up the barbecue on the verandah, or when the entire family is sitting on the balcony, listening to the bugs get zapped in pure serenity. Whichever moment all the way back from 1997 you recall, you can relive it in the present day.

The humble home features everything you need for a wholesome getaway with the fam or friends alike. The two bedrooms will sleep up to five guests, while the fireplace will keep you cosy in front of the TV watching re-runs of old flicks like The Castle.

While the pad features a certain bucolic charm, the real prize-winner here is the location. You’re just a stone’s throw from Lake Eildon which is great for a spot of fishing or watersports in summer. While Mt Buller is just a drive away and idyllic for hikers, bikers and of course snow-goers during winter.

The Castle in Bonnie Doon sleeps up to five people for $228 a night. There’s also a bungalow out the back, more affectionately known as The Poolroom which sleeps up to three extra people at a minimum of $70 extra per night.

Find your serenity and book here.
