The Official NBA Exhibition Is Bouncing Into Melbourne This Year

By

In what is sure to be a slam dunk for all basketball fanatics out there, an official NBA Exhibition is bouncing into town. From Wednesday 3 April, expect over 1100 square metres of pure interactive basketball showcasing, with an in-depth background in the lifestyle and culture of the game.

Set to be held in the District Docklands, the exhibition will encompass the 1100-square-metre venue, with over 20 themed sections. The exhibition is the NBA’s first official global touring exhibition, which includes authenticated and autographed memorabilia, games to test your basketball skills, augmented and virtual reality sections and experiences, and a dedicated area for Australian NBA players.

Doesn’t matter how much skin you have in this game, you’re invited to participate in all the activities they’re hosting, including determining your vertical jump and reflexes, testing your shooting skills, and a section to measure yourself against the shoe and handprints of NBA players both past and present. The augmented reality photobooths mean you can take pics of yourself with your fav basketball players, as well as get a photo with a replica of the Larry O'Brien Championship Trophy aka the trophy awarded to the winner of the NBA Finals.

Whether you’re a Bulls supporter or a die-hard stan for the Lakers, all the greats will be featured. Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Steph Curry and Shaquille O'Neal are all included, and the memorabilia hall will house jerseys and sneakers worn by some of the best in the game.

If you’re jumping at the chance to catch the exhibition, you can grab tickets here right now.
