Melbourne’s Dedicated Fresh Gnocchi Store Has Opened A Second Locale In Middle Park

By

Coburg’s Gnoccheria has been humbly serving up their fresh gnocchi, pasta and lasagna from their Coburg locale for some time now. Since, their goods have been gaining momentum with carb-enthusiasts across Melbourne, to the point where not opening a second brick and mortar store would just be denying the people what they want.

The second store can be found tucked away in Middle Park, servicing the gnocchi-obsessed south of the river with a full gamut of varietals like the traditional potato, burnt butter and saffron, goats cheese, beetroot, and pumpkin. What’s on offer rotates, but with 60 different flavours it’s unlikely you’d leave empty-handed.

“Gnoccheria Middle Park has the same setup as Coburg with us making the fresh gnocchi in the window and making fresh pasta daily. We use my family recipes but with a modern twist - Nonna would never have imagined a burnt butter and saffron gnocchi or a vegan lasagne! But we do use her principles of fresh, quality and local ingredients. We even use as much produce as we can from our organic farm in Thorpdale, Gippsland,” said co-founder, Felicity Giuliani.

Along with those carby, potato-y crown jewels, Gnoccheria also sling some mean specialty items like vegan and vegetable lasagna and an award-winning gluten-free beef lasagna.

Gnoccheria’s gnocchi is available in 500gm packs, or by the kilo for those who’d prefer to bulk up. You can find their new digs at 11 Armstrong Street, Middle Park.
