The tenth The Grumpy Baker to grace Sydney’s streets, the institution’s Abercrombie Lane location in the CBD offers its beloved freshly baked goodness with an Israeli twist that affirmed all the previous venues as neighbourhood favourites.
Menu items exclusive to the laneway location include white fish baked in a rich, slightly spicy capsicum sauce served in a fresh pita with tahini, and a schnitzel sandwich with roasted eggplant, Romanian spicy salad and lettuce in a house-baked challah roll.
As well as the bakery goods, The Grumpy Baker’s CBD store also serves coffee to accompany, with everything available to take away or enjoy at the laneway seating.
