SWOP

SWOP is a store selling sustainably sourced vintage and preloved gear, launched in Brisbane. Just a few years later, SWOP has gone on to open stores in Sydney and Melbourne.

SWOP buys and resells clothing and accessories from within the local community. The exchange booth is open every Friday where customers can sell or “SWOP” their clothes for cash or in-store credit.

Each item brought in is assessed and priced by trained buyers, so you won’t find any fast fashion items on the racks. Keen to swap your stuff? Check out the list of what’s accepted here.

The Sydney store features concrete floors, tunes, a few plants, and a whole lot of high-quality pre-loved clothes, including a nine-metre wall of dresses.
