Up on the slopes of Mount Canobolas, Rowlee Dining and Bar is a new part of the vineyard and cellar door experience at Rowlee, one of the Orange region's best wineries

Dreamt up by Rowlee owners, James Manny and Nicole Samodol, here you're able to drop in for snacks post wine tasting or settle in for a long lunch or dinner over multiple courses.

Sleek and modern, with space for up to 100, the restaurant features distinct spaces—a bar, lounge, dining room, and verandah to take in the spectacular vines and high altitude scenery.

Leading the kitchen is British head chef Simon Furley, who draws experience from Michelin-starred eateries around Europe. Highlights from his menu include house-made crisps with beef fat mayo, hay-fried chicken with pumpkin skin dipping sauce, and a spectacular Long-fed Angus sirloin topped with pink sweet pickles.

Pair this with the entire Rowlee collection of wines (we recommend the single vineyard Chardonnay or single vineyard Arneis), an edit of other local and international wines, and cocktails too. The house spritz features rakia, limoncello, Rowlee Cuvée, and soda—and there's a Sgroppino with Spilt Milk gelato and more Rowlee Cuvée.

Front of house is venue manager Bon Kuil-Hartikainen (ex-Rockpool) who has created the perfect charming, relaxed atmosphere ideal for an afternoon of delicious wine and delightful food.

“Here you can enjoy communal, share-style dishes, delicious drinks, generous hospitality, big views, and cosy corners," says Nicole. "At Rowlee, slow, sunlit lunches can extend into an evening under the stars.”
