Big news, Sydney. The heroes of house music at Ministry of Sound are back to host an outrageous party next month to celebrate the EDM outfit’s three-decade stretch of good vibes and great tunes.

Called “Testament” and described as a “warehouse experience”, the party is returning to Sydney after an epic inaugural tour in 2021 and will be taking over the Overseas Passenger Terminal for two whole nights.

If 90s house hits are your vibe (like C+C Music Factory’s Gonna Make You Sweat and Missing by Everything but the Girl), you’ll want to hit up Testament on Saturday 5 August. Covering off 90s house, prog, trance, garage, and rave anthems, you’ll have Barbara Tucker, Inner City, Phil Hartnoll, and Tall Paul leading the vibes, as well as a whole room dedicated to Sydney’s early 90s rave scene.

If the Ministry of Sound’s “The 2007 Annual” compilation is your all-time favourite (same), Sunday will bring all the nostalgic noughties feels. Dive back into 2000s electro with Bag Raiders, Van She Tech, Jamie Doom of the Bang Gang DJs, and a DJ set from The Presets. The Bloody Beetroots, Digitalism, Freq Nasty, and Stanton Warriors will be headlining.

Local Ministry of Sound legends like Goodwill, John Course, Groove Terminator, and Mark Dynamix are also on the bill.
