After a two-year hiatus, Bondi’s magical wintertime arts and cultural festival, Bondi Festival, is back for another run of frosty fun by the beach. The wintry shindig will be turning up the heat with everything from cabaret to ice-skating antics for three weeks this July—so consider this the proverbial carrot to lure you out of the house this winter.

In 2020, two much-loved Bondi events—Bondi Feast and Bondi Winter Magic Festival—were combined to create the all-in-one extravaganza that is now Bondi Festival. However, last year's run was put on ice due to Sydney's lockdown.

Now, the combined festival has announced a dazzling program to make up for lost time, featuring cabaret performances, gender-bending comedy, interactive theatre, pub trivia nights, walking tours, artist talks, and live tunes. Plus, a heap of Bondi venues will be throwing there own events and gigs while the festival is on.

The iconic Bondi Vista Ferris Wheel is returning, too, with its unbeatable 360-degree views across the ocean, the beach, and Bondi. And it wouldn't be a winter festival without a pop-up ice-skating rink, which is open to all ages and skill levels—from triple axel-pros to edge-of-rink clingers.

Tickets are now on sale. To view the full program and to snap up tix, head to the website
