There’s not a whole lot that beats great coffee, but great coffee that does good for the community might just be the pinnacle. That’s why we’re completely sold (and you will be too) on the launch of this new cafe for a cause—Ground + Co, in the WA State Library.
Ground + Co is a social enterprise initiative created by The Underground Collaborative to create jobs and change lives for the better. With their incredible ethos of training and employing women and young people who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness, we reckon there’s never been a better excuse to grab a cup of coffee or a casual bite to go. What’s more, every single purchase helps The Underground Collaborative to employ and empower more of those at risk.
Now that the Ground + Co cafe is in a permanent location, they'll be slinging coffee and cafe eats for a good cause every single day. Plus, they’ll be able to host events and cater for functions, enabling an even bigger positive impact on our community.
So, why not try out the coffee for yourself? To celebrate the opening giving away 200 cups of coffee for free on Monday 28 June from 7:30am so you've really got no reason not to.
