Sushi Jiro

All aboard the (sushi) train—Sushi Jiro has arrived at Westfield Chermside and is dishing up high-quality Japanese cuisine with a dining experience that is a new take on an old classic. While Sushi Jiro has over 20 venues in Victoria, this is their first Brisbane venture, and they’ve levelled up with the longest sushi train in the southern hemisphere, measuring an impressive 115 metres and seating 170. Just last year the Japanese brand unveiled the world’s first circular sushi training, spanning 30.6 metres, in Meblourne’s Westfield Doncaster, so they're accustomed to bringing the wow factor to their venues. 

You'll be impressed by more than just the lenghty sushi train, with a sleek restaurant fit out that features curved ceiling panels, futuristic mood lighting and sleek surfaces. Take a seat in one of the many booths lining the train and you can snatch up classics like nigiri, maki, sashimi and more, as well as quirky dishes like the nori taco, which combines a taco and sushi for a delicious handheld feed. We recommend also ordering off the a la carte menu however, as it means you'll get to experience having your food delivered by a robot waiter.
