Brisbane’s nightlife has a dazzling new home where music, glamour, and good times collide. Enter Palais—the buzzing new space at Cloudland designed to take you seamlessly from dinner and drinks to dancing.
Decked out in rich timber panelling, plush furnishings, and warm marble accents, the bold and luxurious space is a glitzy mecca for late-night fun, featuring Cloudland’s signature shimmering circular bar adorned with thousands of crystal spheres. Basically the crowning jewel of Fortitude Valley’s iconic after-dark playground, Palais sets the scene for a night to remember.
“Palais is the beating heart of Cloudland—where great music and late-night magic come together,” says CEO Paul Janssen. “Whether guests are flowing in from dinner at the Garden or arriving ready to hit the dancefloor, it’s a space designed to elevate the night and reimagine what a Valley night out can be.”
Palais’ cocktail menu is as bold as it is delicious, with seductive creations like the Ruby Rendezvous mixing bourbon, dark chocolate, black walnut, and beetroot topped with a gold leaf-coated beetroot chip. There’s also the Mezcal Marg for agave aficionados, and the Mandarin Paloma garnished with grapefruit flowers and salt to offer a vibrant twist on a classic.
Needless to say, the dance floor at Palais will be the talk of the town with an eclectic line-up of resident DJs and touring acts in charge of the tunes. “It’s about creating an experience that unfolds naturally,” says Entertainment Director Zygmund Bickle. “Expect a rich blend of warm, organic, and timeless sounds inspired by disco, funk, soul, jazz, house and rare groove, embracing deep cuts and underground selections rather than mainstream hits.”
You’ll find Palais on the mezzanine above Cloudland Garden and beneath rooftop brewery Valley Hops. Walk-ins welcome or book here.
