“We want to bring the spirit of Bulimba to life with a space that evolves with the community while remaining unmistakably local,” said operations manager at ALH Group, Josh Bibby. “Our goal is to blend polished hospitality with a playful edge, offering a space that is modern, yet always welcome.” 

While Oxford 152 has held many faces over the years—formerly known as the Bulimba Hotel and later the Balmoral—the venue has long been a staple in the local pub scene. Post up in the beer garden, watch live sports at the bar, or dig into elevated pub fare at the bistro—Oxford 152 is your go-to.

“We’re softening the venue’s aesthetic to appeal to a broader audience without losing the essence that has made us a local favourite. With a fresh look, great value, and top-notch service, Oxford 152 will continue to be the go-to destination in Bulimba,” Bibby said.
