If you and your crew are the kind of friend group that can never decide on one cuisine for your dinner plans, a new venue that will solve all your problems has landed in the Chinatown Mall in the Valley. Coming to us from the team behind Buttery Boy, the pancake spot right next door, Mr Duncan is a massive restaurant and bar that features not one but four different kitchens, each with entirely unique menus. The collective-style concept means everyone in your group can order something completely different and eat them together—ideal for anyone with totally different tastes to their friends. 

Once you’ve found a table either inside where you can see directly into the bustling kitchens or outside in the breezy mall, you can take your pick from the raw bar, grill, pizza and pasta kitchen or the pan-Asian offering. No need to limit yourself to just one kitchen either—if you want to start with seafood ceviche, move on to spring rolls and Singapore chilli crab, add on some baby pork back ribs and top off your feast with miso potato pizza, you do you. 

Signature dishes from around the grounds include the ‘gram-worthy sashimi net, which comes draped in a delicate (and edible) daikon netting, the local Urban Valley mushrooms and the marinara pasta which comes topped with grilled crayfish. There’s also a dedicated bar of course, pouring classic and signature cocktails, mocktails, wines and tap beers. Be sure to stay for dessert as well—though you won’t want to share the panna cotta cheesecake, we can tell you that.
