The Distillery Restaurant

Whether you’re a regular visitor to the Beenleigh Rum Distillery or you’ve just sailed past it on the highway a thousand times, you’re no doubt aware of this 135 year old boutique distillery on the banks of the Albert River in Eagleby. However there’s a new addition to the precinct that might just have you pulling off the motorway for a pitstop—an 80-seat full-service restaurant dishing up comfort food with a twist. 

The new Distillery Restaurant is located inside the distillery premises and is all about elevated pub-style cuisine that showcases local produce and Australian flavours. Here you can tuck into share plates like spicy corn ribs and sticky pork belly bites doused in rum sauce followed by beef ribs coated in sticky barbeque and rum sauce or a stacked brisket burger. There’s even rum-infused desserts for a sweet finisher, and of course you can sip on rum-based cocktails while you dine. 

Before or after your meal, you can check out the distillery itself for a rum tasting, masterclass or interactive distillery tour—the new restaurant has just made this iconic Queensland experience even better. Be sure to pick up a bottle of their Australian spiced rum on your way out.
