Update: Lightscape has dropped a sweet deal for their last few days, with 25% off tickets if you use the code 'HOLIDAY' (not valid on Saturdays before 7:15pm). It's only valid for a limited number of orders, so check it out and grab your tickets here.
Prepare to be transported to a world of light, colour and sound in the Botanical Gardens, because global hit Lightscape is returning to Brisbane and we honestly could not be more excited. If you somehow missed this spectacular experience last year, Lightscape provides a multi-sensory immersive experience showcasing otherworldly, botanical brilliance—and it's a must-see.
This amazing experience is hitting Brisbane in September as part of Brisbane Festival, and may just outshine Riverfire in the dazzle department, with a stunning visual extravaganza spread out over a two-kilometre path through the City Botanical Gardens.
Walk through glowing tree canopies lit up in colourful hues, explore laser-lit forests and take in the larger-than-life neon flowers as you wander the lengthy route. This year we're even getting two exclusive sculptural installations created by Queensland First nations artists Paul Bong and Michelle Yeatman, which will be taking pride of place.
If you thought the Botanical Gardens were already beautiful, just wait for Lightscape to transform and enhance the stunning greenery with an absolute feast for the senses. Trust us, you don’t want to miss this, so you should grab your tickets now. It lands on 29 August and will be around for five weeks until 12 October, so you’ve got plenty of time to catch it.
