Lupin Part Two Trailer Just Dropped And It’s Going To Be A Wild Ride

By

Two men, one holding a dog's leash, walk down a village street.

Just when we thought we were about to run out of epic shows to binge, Netflix went and gifted us Lupin, a French crime series that proved so popular, it rivaled Bridgerton viewing numbers—yes, really!

The series—which sat at number one in Netflix’s Top 10 across more than 10 countries for a month—is set to drop the highly anticipated part two on 11 June. And if you can’t possibly wait that long, the streaming giant has gone and dropped the first official trailer—which,as suspected, is seriously wild.

For those who haven't yet watched the show (how?), it’s based on French novelist Maurice Leblanc’s Arsène Lupin, Gentleman Burglar and follows Assane Diop (played by the dreamy Omar Sy), who uses the fictional, world-famous gentleman thief and master of disguise as his inspiration to avenge his father’s death.

Part one left fans with a serious cliffhanger that may or may not have resulted in many of us screaming at the TV in disbelief.

In part two, which will consist of five juicy new eps directed by Ludovic Bernard and Hugo Gélin, we will see more of Assane's backstory, featuring flashbacks to his youth, finally finding out what made him who he is today—the most wanted man in France.

With his quest for revenge against Hubert Pelligrini tearing his family to pieces and his back to the wall, Assane has to think of a new plan, even if it means putting himself in danger.

Excited? Us too! Feast your eyes on the action-packed trailer below:
