They say that deux is always better than un, and that's certainly the case when it comes to Netflix series Emily In Paris

Whether you loved it or loved to hate it, it was bloody addictive and gave us a nice slice of armchair travelling with stunning Paris as a backdrop, epic fashion and yes, those cliche characters that we became obsessed with. Which is why we're seriously stoked that season two filming has just wrapped and will be hitting our screens 22 December.

If you’re unfamiliar with the show, it follows Emily (played by Lily Collins), an ambitious twenty-something marketing executive from Chicago, who unexpectedly lands her dream job in Paris when her work acquires a French luxury marketing company and she is tasked with revamping their social media strategy. Emily's new life in Paris is filled with intoxicating adventures and surprising challenges as she juggles winning over her work colleagues, making friends, and navigating new romances.

Season one left us on a serious cliffhanger with (spoiler alert) Emily finding herself right in the middle of a genetically-blessed love triangle with heartthrob Gabriel and bestie Camille.

When its comes to season two the show’s creator Darren Star (yes, the man behind Sex and The City and Gossip Girl) revealed that Emily will really find her Parisian feet in the new season. In terms of her love life, Star told Collider he wanted Emily to “have a lot of complicated choices with a lot of the men in her life".

Yes it sounds very juicy and we are here for it. And now what you've all been waiting for... the brand new season two trailer.

In the meantime, binge your way through the best new shows on Netflix Australia and New Zealand.
