The verdict
The Grounds has moved into the CBD, so now you don’t have to trek it all the way to Alexandria for their delicious pastries, perfect coffee, and fresh brekkies. Just so we're clear—Kevin Bacon will not be coming, so you’ll still have to head to the O.G. café to pat that big guy.
The décor is light on their signature garden vibes—with salvaged timber floors, marble accents, antique pendant lights, and hand-crafted stained glass, a nod to the old school hospitality era of the 1920’s.
From the menu, you can expect a killer coffee selection (obvs) and an all-day brasserie menu. Just like their first outpost , there are café faves and goodies to-go, so if your office is next door to this one, then you should just moving in.
