We have rooftop cocktail bars, rooftop oyster bars, rooftop cinemas and rooftop pools. Now brace yourself for the start of the actual future, we have a new rooftop gym. Because squats and the Sydney skyline is where it’s at.

For a whole new take on fitness and wellbeing, Paramount Recreation Club in Surry Hills will no doubt help you step up your standard fitness repertoire. All about ‘working out not burning out’, this fresh lil’ health sanctuary will feature strength classes, conditioning, yoga, pilates, barre and personal training. Plus you’ll also be able to healthily stuff your face in the hella cute kiosk on the rooftop terrace with a menu put together by the same legends that brought us Longrain, Cho Cho San and The Apollo. We know. This is big. 

And if you haven’t put it together yet (it took us a minute too), Paramount Recreation Club is (wait for it), by the same peeps as Paramount Coffee Project and will be sitting pretty on the very same rooftop. 

The studio will be decked out in all the Californian feels so start imagining dainty awnings and parasols while you get your sweat on and live your best life. Paramount Recreation Club will open in April so you can start cancelling your current lame as anything ‘on-the-ground’ gym membership right now.
