Mr. Drifter is your new Noosa Junction local and we’ll tell you why. With a space warm and cosy enough to be your new date night hot spot, yet cool and sleek enough for live music on a Saturday night, this Asian street food bar serves in all areas. The bar is built with rustic timber walls, exposed brick and is decked out with vintage postcards and Little Golden book-style menus. We love the modern twist on an slightly tiki-style theme.
Specialising in street food from India through to Indonesia and all about the voyage of the spice traders, you can expect Mr. Drifter's menu to be packed with flavour. We recommend the yellow duck curry in turmeric, cumin and a rich coconut sauce, the Malaysian spiced pulled beef roll with lemongrass and coconut or the Kadai Pakistani chicken with aromatic chicken, tomato and potatoes.
If your mouth wasn’t watering already, their unique cocktail list might just do it. Sip their tuk tuk-inspired cocktail with lemongrass-infused vodka, kaffir lime, ginger and grapefruit soda. Or for a semi-casual drink try their ships cabin ginger beer with spiced rum, lime, mint and cinnamon pear foam or classic chilli marg. It’s safe to say we’re never disappointed at Mr. Drifter.
