When thinking of the finest Sunshine Coast restaurants, Noosa pops to the top of many minds. With the picturesque Noosa River just metres from dining hotspots, easy access to local produce, and an ever-bustling atmosphere, it’s easy to see why patrons flock to Noosa.
There was a palpable sound of hearts breaking when Noosaville stalwart, Thomas Corner Eatery closed its doors in 2022. Good news—the well-known waterfront dining establishment has been transformed into a stunning new venue, with an ethos of bringing the iconic space back to its former glory.
Lanai Noosa is a stunning seafood-centric restaurant which truly embodies the essence of Noosa’s casual elegance and boasts scenic views of the Noosa River; it’s a venue that seamlessly transitions from long, lazy lunch to intimate dinner spot.
Lanai has a strong focus on sharing and connection, which is reflected in the shareable menu—from small nibble platters to large share plates. The menu is light and fresh, reflecting the very essence of Noosa and complemented by an extensive drinks list.
The sophisticated venue champions sustainably sourced seafood, native ingredients and locally crafted artisan products, using only local and ethical suppliers. Chefs Elwyn Watkin and Ryan Fitzpatrick are passionate about showcasing native ingredients which are provided by Galeru, Australia’s largest native Indigenous-owned orchard.
