The Verdict
One of the most popular restaurants in the Crown complex, Rockpool Bar & Grill has cemented itself as one of Perth's favourite special occasion restaurants for good reason. The sophisticated steakhouse boasts an award-winning cellar stocked with 1300+ Australian and international wines, and you really can't go past the in-house aged beef cooked on the open wood fire grill—perfect for matching to aforementioned wine.
The menu is brimming with standup seafood and rare beef breeds, with regular dinners dedicated to exploring each and every one hosted in the elegant private rooms.
And let's not forget about the house made desserts either, people. Whether you're tucking into the iconic passionfruit pavlova or a hot sticky date pudding served with burnt butter ice cream, you never regret making room for sweets here.

White tablecloths, marble, jacketed wait staff and caviar bumps—Gibney is hands down the fanciest of all the venues under George Kailis' name. And honestly, it might just take the cake for 'most opulent dining destination' in all of Perth.
Tom’s Providore & Wine Bar
If you’re a Leederville local, you will probably recall the devastation felt the day we discovered the beloved Tom’s Cafe right in the heart of Oxford Street was closing down towards the start of the pandemic. But thankfully since closing the OG, the legends have come back with a new and improved Tom’s in Highgate.
