The Verdict
If it’s a comforting bowl of ramen your heart desires, look no further than Ponsonby’s Ramen Takara. Originally operating solely from their Brown’s Bay site, the eatery’s popularity lead to a second location opening on Ponsonby Road in 2015. You’re spoilt for choice with 10 ramen offerings as well as an extensive range of other Japanese dishes. We love their crispy lotus chips and their pork belly spring rolls served with Japanese mustard are not to be missed—yum!
