The Verdict
This Auckland institution has been serving mezze goodness since 1992. With its warm, ambient atmosphere and central location, Mezze Bar is the perfect spot for after work eats and drinks. When it comes to food, the more the merrier so be sure to order patatas bravas, Spanish meatballs, chicken liver pate and ceviche, among other scrumptious sharing dishes. Mezze Bar are also open for brunch with huevos flamencos, Moorish eggs, and Turkish-style savoury French toast.

When you hear the words surf club, what comes to mind? I think of ice cream, pizza, and Alf Stewart (I haven't watched Home & Away in years, but I understand the Summer Bay Surf Club is still standing. Poor old Mr. Stewart, I'm not so sure).
