Nestled in Ponsonby Central, Little Bread & Butter is the first member of Isabel Pasch’s (the lovely German lass of Paris Berlin in Ellerslie) and Shaun Pope’s (Café Melba) Bread & Butter family.
Inspired by Isabel’s German heritage, Little Bread & Butter specialises in traditional German rye sourdoughs, French baguettes, amongst other organic loaves, cakes and pastries. Grab a filled-to-the-brim roll on the go, or take a seat in the café. You’ll also quickly realise that Little Bread & Butter is THE best place to buy bread in Auckland.
