The Verdict
If there’s one thing that’s been missing from Auckland’s diverse dining scene—it’d have to be a dedicated chocolate bar. Addressing the need we didn’t know we had is one of NZ’s premier chocolatiers Honest Chocolat. Expanding operations from their Matakana home village, Honest Chocolat has opened a beautiful chocolate boutique on the ground floor of Commercial Bay.
Expect to find exquisite hand-decorated chocolate bonbons, single-origin chocolate tablets, gift boxes and confectionery as well as the aforementioned chocolate bar where you can pull up a stool and treat yourself to a choc-tail (or three) or grab something to take away.
