The Verdict
After much speculation, it's been confirmed that Karangahape and Eastridge dessert fave The Pie Piper and Doornuts has closed its doors for good. The pressures of Covid lockdowns proved too much to keep the business afloat and while our hearts are broken, we're sure we'll see them rise in another form sometime in the future. Thanks for all the good times Pie Piper, you'll be sorely missed.

The Pie Piper and Doornuts now give us the chance to witness them whipping up scrumptious creations in their kitchen and physical store on K' Road. It is everything a sugar addict and doughnut-loving Aucklander dreamed of. You’ll be treated to their vast and whacky selection of doughnuts, like the Blueberry Berliner that’s wrapped in golden crumbled awesomeness or the wild Rocky Road and oh-so much s’more!
