The Verdict
The craft beer trend continues to skyrocket, and Wynyard Quarter’s 16 Tun is pouring the goods. 16 Tun are passionate about all things beer, and since they’re a ‘free house’, they can stock as many different beers from as many different breweries as they’d like! (They have around 100 at the mo). As the ultimate inner-city post-work hangout, 16 Tun offers a selection of tasty bites to pair with your brew. Paua fritters, crispy calamari, ribs, fancy fish n’ chips…you get the idea.
16 Tun also host a couple of beer masterclasses! Beer Appreciation will teach you everything you need to know about the hoppy, malty beverage, while Ladies Masterclass is a girls only beer tasting night.
