This is not a drill, everyone's fave wine fest—Pinot Palooza—is officially returning to the thirsty city of Auckland after a years' hiatus.
That’s right folks, the Southern Hemisphere’s largest pinot noir festival will be taking over Shed 10 this weekend and the Saturday evening session has now sold out.
Everyone’s fave grape, the almighty Pinot will be brought to you by Revel, the team behind cult wine event, Game of Rhones. This Palooza will feature the best of Pinot Noir from more than 100 of New Zealand’s and Australia's hottest wine producers with Kiwi producers Akarua, Clos Henri, Craggy Range, Cloudy Bay, Dog Point, Love Block and Quartz Reef—to name a few—already announced for the line-up.
It’s the largest red wine festival (by far), but that doesn’t mean they expect you to completely sustain yourself on pinot alone, no sir-ee as you'll have food from Jess's Underground Kitchen and Dough boys to help you soak up all that good booze. You'll also get the opportunity to nerd out with a series of free talks across all sessions.
You won’t have to waste any of your precious energy with annoying drink tokens either, since your $65 ticket not only gives you entry to the festival and a take-home wine glass, but also covers all wine tastings, and we mean alllll of them. This event has sold out in previous years so if this sounds like a bit of you, snap up your tickets here while you still can.
