If you've ever laid awake at night, pondering life's greatest question—what in the world could be better than a Krispy Kreme doughnut—we think we have the answer. And what might that be, exactly? ‘Dough-scuits’ or Krispy Kreme-inspired cookies, that's what, and they're winging their way to us courtesy of Aussie biscuit giant, Arnott's, from the end of the month.
We realise this is quite the call, but hear us out. Arnott's are bringing their famous teeVee snacks (a crunchy cookie from across the ditch that's been pleasing Aussie biscuit lovers for generations) to NZ for the first time, and what better way to draw our attention to this new treat than with a Krispy Kreme collab. One look at a box of these bite-sized morsels, and drooling is all but guaranteed—and that's before you've even delved inside, where the real party's at.
In typical Krispy Kreme fashion, there are plenty of mouthwatering flavours to get amongst, starting of course with the Original Glaze (just like the doughnut, only crunchy). The Caramel Delight takes a perfectly-baked biccie and hits it with a double serving of caramel in the form of caramel icing and caramel sprinkles, while the Choc Iced, smothered in bittersweet dark chocolate, is a legit cocoa-lover's dream. Kookies & Kreme (choccy biccies topped with white chocolate icing and choc-cocoa sprinkles) and Strawberry Sprinkles (featuring pretty pink strawberry icing and rainbow sprinkles) round out the range.
There's no word on whether or not these cookies are limited-edition, so no need to panic buy. Having said that, we can't wait to get our mitts on these new treats, so we'll see you in the biccie aisle of our local (just mind the trolley).
