Fuel Bakehouse Burleigh

The unrivalled pie connoisseurs of the Gold Coast, Fuel Bakehouse have been sprinkling their pastry-loaded magic around the Gold Coast for years, garnering a cult-like following at their Cabarita store and flagship Currumbin location.

The talented crew have opened a third pumping location in the heart of Burleigh’s James Street, seriously elevating the Burleigh breakfast scene. Grab and go is the name of the game here, with friendly service, efficiency and of course, pies and pastries, at the heart of Fuel.

The menu is as extensive as it is delicious. Breakfast wraps, toasties and burritos all star on the breakfast menu, while the lunch menu is loaded up with burgers, nachos, loaded fries, salads and—obviously—pies. And by pies, we mean seven types of pies and three types of sausage rolls. The pie meat is slow-cooked for seven hours, with all pastries made fresh daily on site and we promise you can taste the difference. 

We would be remiss not to mention Fuel Bakehouse’s seriously impressive range of classic sweet delights, including croissants, brownies, banana breads, cruffins and an ever-rotating selection of their infamous donuts. We’re talking Nutella donuts, jam donuts, custard donuts, and a plethora of inventive weekend specials.

Pair your feed with a top-notch coffee made on Social Espresso beans, roasted locally in Burleigh Heads. Fuel is one of the few places in Burleigh you can get a 5pm coffee seven days a week, which is another tick in our books.

The tight-knit Fuel Bakehouse crew are truly passionate about championing local suppliers, baking everything onsite and fostering a local community, which just adds to the reasons why we love them. And the pies.
