The Scenic Rim Farm Gate Trail Is Returning Twice In 2025

By

Polish your boots and grab the esky—the Scenic Rim Farm Gate Trail is popping up again for 2025 with not one, but two incredible events on the calendar on Sunday 30 March and Sunday 20 July. If you don't know it, the Scenic Rim Farm Gate Trail is the ultimate foodie road trip where a record number of farmers, growers, producers, winemakers, brewers, distillers and flavour-makers across the region quite literally, open their gates.

The Scenic Rim was named as one of the top ten regions in the world to visit in 2023 and achieved ECO Destination Certification with Ecotourism Australia in 2025 (only the 12th spot in Australia to earn this recognition). The Scenic Rim Farm Gate Trail is the perfect excuse to jump in the car, directly support the primary producers that feed us, and take in some of that fresh countryside air.

Showcasing the huge variety of agriculture in the area, the 25 participating farm gates and small businesses include foodie spots like Heritage Poultry, Peak Organics, Bee All Natural Honey, Valley Pride Produce, and Olive View Estate, where you can pick up freshly pressed olive oil. Stop for a rest and a feed at Oaky Creek Farm and Harvest Cafe, the Scenic Rim Farm Shop, The Shed Cafe Rathdowney, or Scenic Rim Farm Shop then stroll through flower fields at the Elderflower Farm.

Don’t miss cuddles with lambs at Towri Sheep Cheeses, playing with baby goats at Naughty Little Kids, camel feeding and rides at Summer Land Camels, and picnicking with furry new friends at Mountview Alpaca Farm.

For boozy experiences, you can visit Barney Creek Vineyard, Bunjurgen Estate,  Boxer Brewing Co, Sarabah Vineyard, O’Reilly’s Canungra Valley Vineyard, Witches Falls Winery, The Overflow Estate 1895, Tamborine Mountain Distillery (don't sleep on their viral Yuzucello), and Cauldron Distillery, with its sweeping view of the vineyard.

There's plenty more must-hit spots on the Scenic Rim Farm Gate Trail and loads of the locations on the Trail welcome dogs, so no one has to miss out.
