Quê Dining

In case you hadn’t noticed, Newport on the Redcliffe peninsula has scored a slew of delicious eateries recently, all of them worth the drive north. One of those eateries is Quê Dining, a sleek and stylish new Vietnamese spot from the team behind Paddington’s Ngon. As well as a stunning dark green fit out, here you’ll find elevated Vietnamese fare that will leave you wanting more. 

A few Ngon faves have made their way onto the menu, such as their signature pho beef noodle soup loaded with tender beef cuts and herbs. If you’re looking to mix things up though, start with small bites like fried eggplant doused in ginger caramel sauce, roast bbq duck spring rolls and young rice coated prawns before moving on to twice cooked sticky pork belly, yellow duck curry and lemongrass chilli chicken. 

There’s a lengthy list of drinks to take advantage of too if you’re lucky enough to be local (or not designated driver), including an espresso martini based on a Vietnamese iced coffee. Alternatively, just save yourself for deep-fried ice cream for dessert.
