Landing in Lutwyche at the end of April, Contro Wellness will be a stunning, Mediterranean-inspired sanctuary where you can find a slice of calm, no matter what your preferred form of relaxation looks like. And it’s not just the treatments that will leave you in a state of tranquillity—the studio itself will make you feel like you’ve been transported to the Mediterranean, thanks to endless curved archways, natural stone and neutral tones.
As well as being a serious dose of eye candy, Contro Wellness will have a pretty distinct edge over your usual bathhouse or day spa—here all the service rooms are totally private, meaning whether you’re here for some floating, contrast therapy or a good steam, you won’t have to share your moment of bliss with a soul. Unless you want to of course, in which case you can bring a friend or partner with you—hello new date night option.
Contro Wellness's private and bespoke services will include float therapy (with both open and pod options available, infrared therapy and traditional saunas paired with ice baths for contrast therapy, mineral soakers, steam rooms, red light therapy and salt therapy, with prices starting from just $40 for a session. If you opt to bring a friend, it’ll wind up being less per person, and you can also lock in discounted multi-packs if you know you’ll be coming back again and again (and again).
Co-founders Madeleine Snaith and Jake Salomone are no strangers to the world of wellness, having just moved home to Brisbane after founding pilates and yoga studios in Mackay and Rural View. Contro Wellness will take their passion to a new level, with the husband and wife team more than ready to welcome people to their new space.
