Two Minutes with Dord Burrough

Georgia Burrough, commonly known as Dord, is the most relaxed, creatively bizarre and vague blonde in Brisbane. She is an artistic genius, but incredibly modest, approaching life with a graceful giggle and a humble smile. She is unpretentious and unpredictable; in fact, some would say she is more a comedian than an artist.
Dord lives in Berlin, where her art is featured in multiple underground galleries. Despite her success in Berlin, Dord still frequents her hometown, Brisbane, and has a soft spot for its fledgling arts scene.
Her peculiar and remarkable paintings (express post from Berlin) will be featured in the upcoming Nine Lives exhibition, ‘'Three Winter Coats and a Dirty Knife', on the 25th of August. This is perfect opportunity to support this beautiful, local talent in her hometown, before Berlin steals her away forever.
TUL: Describe in one sentence what exactly you do for work?
I am an artist, it's tough relying on my work to sell constantly to live off, so I often babysit.
TUL: What do you think the best thing is about living in Brisbane?
The weather in Brisbane is breezy, I love the consistant sunshine.
TUB: Favourite place to shop for something that makes you feel sexy?
I’m more into comfort
TUB: What animal best describes you?
Sea bird
TUB: If you were going on a date, where would you take someone?
TUB: If you could have a super-power, what would it be?
Teleporting would be unreal
TUB: Do you prefer eating out glamorously or eating in with a DVD and a bottle of red?
I love both, thats really hard. If I have to sway to one, then eating in with a DVD and a bottle of red.

TUB: Best lunch spot?

TUB: Would you rather go skydiving or get a massage?
Massage for sure.
TUB: Spray tan or solarium?
My skin is extremely sensitive to the sun, so spray tan!
TUB: Favourite city in Australia, other than Brisbane?
Melbourne
TUB: What is your Sunday routine?
Sleep in, make crepes, meet with friends.
